No Special Dietary Arrangements Offered

Olderkesi Senior School does not provide special, alternative, or customized dietary meals for individual students. All boarders receive the same standard menu regardless of personal, religious, cultural, medical, or lifestyle food preferences.

Dietary Policy

To maintain operational efficiency, food safety standards, and fairness in our boarding program, the school adheres to a strict no-exceptions policy regarding meal customization.

No Special Diets

We do not accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher, keto, paleo, or any other specialized dietary regimens. All students eat from the same standard menu.

No Allergy Exemptions

While we avoid common allergens where possible, students with severe food allergies must consult the school nurse. The kitchen cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation environments.

No Outside Food

Students are prohibited from bringing food items from home, including snacks, supplements, or packaged meals. This prevents contamination, pest issues, and dietary inconsistency.

No Fasting Accommodations

Religious or cultural fasting practices cannot be supported with alternative meal timings or storage. Students must follow the unified dining schedule or make personal arrangements.

Nutrition & Wellbeing

Balanced Diet

Our menus are designed by a qualified nutritionist to meet the dietary needs of growing adolescents. Each meal includes carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, and minerals in recommended proportions.

Clean Water

All drinking and cooking water is treated and tested regularly. Students have access to clean water throughout the day from multiple distribution points across the school compound.

Food Safety

The school kitchen is certified by the Ministry of Health. Staff undergo regular hygiene training, and all food handlers hold valid medical certificates. Kitchen inspections occur quarterly.

School Nurse

Our resident nurse monitors student health and can advise on nutrition-related concerns. However, the nurse cannot override the standardized meal policy or request kitchen modifications.

Before You Apply

Prospective students and parents must understand and accept the dietary policy before admission. This policy is non-negotiable and applies to all boarders without exception.

Read and Acknowledge

All applicants must sign a dietary policy acknowledgment form as part of the admission process. This confirms understanding and acceptance of the no-special-diets rule.

Medical Documentation

Students with documented medical conditions requiring dietary intervention must submit a letter from a registered medical practitioner. The school nurse will review but cannot guarantee accommodation.

Day School Option

Students who cannot comply with the standard boarding meal program may apply for day school status (if residing locally with family), subject to availability and transport arrangements.
