Olderkesi Secondary School

Strive For The Best

Dear Students, Parents, Alumni, and Friends of Olderkesi,

It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Olderkesi Secondary School. As you explore our digital home, I hope you catch a glimpse of the vibrant, dynamic, and nurturing environment that defines our institution.

Our school is deeply committed to academic excellence, character development, and holistic growth. In line with modern educational goals and the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) framework, we focus not just on rote learning, but on nurturing the unique talents, critical thinking skills, and practical abilities of every student. We believe in equipping our learners to navigate and succeed in an ever-evolving world.

Academic Excellence & CBC

We are incredibly proud of our dedicated teaching staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive community. Together, we work tirelessly to ensure that our school remains a safe, inclusive, and innovative space for learning. Our focus on the CBC framework means we emphasize practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving alongside traditional academic knowledge.

Character & Community

At Olderkesi, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. We are committed to shaping young people who are not only academically capable but also morally grounded, socially responsible, and prepared to contribute meaningfully to society. Our values of integrity, respect, discipline, and service guide everything we do.

A Call to Partnership

Whether you are a current parent checking on academic updates, a prospective student looking toward your future, or an alumnus reconnecting with your roots, we invite you to be an active part of our journey. Your involvement, support, and feedback are invaluable to our continued growth.

To our students: you are the reason this school exists. Every morning, your teachers and I wake up thinking principal-message how to serve you better. Do not waste this opportunity. Work hard, respect your elders, support your peers, and strive for the best.

To parents: thank you for trusting us with your children. We do not take this responsibility lightly. Our doors are always open for consultation, feedback, and partnership.

Thank you for visiting, and welcome to our community.

My Key Priorities as Principal

1

Academic Excellence

Raise CBC mean grade to B+ and maintain 95%+ university transition through targeted teaching, revision programs, and student mentorship.

2

Digital Transformation

Equip every classroom with digital tools, expand the computer lab, and integrate e-learning into daily instruction for all forms.

3

Student Welfare

Strengthen counseling services, improve boarding facilities, and ensure every student feels safe, supported, and valued.

4

Teacher Development

Invest in continuous professional training, competitive remuneration, and a supportive work environment that retains top talent.

5

Infrastructure Growth

Complete the new science laboratory, expand dormitory capacity, and modernize the school library to serve 300+ students.

6

Community Engagement

Deepen partnerships with parents, alumni, local leaders, and industry to create opportunities and resources for our students.

"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character that is the goal of true education."
Martin Luther King Jr.

This quote hangs in my office and reminds me daily why we do what we do at Olderkesi.

Let's Talk

I believe in accessible leadership. Whether you are a parent with a concern, a student with an idea, an alumnus with a contribution, or a community member with feedback my door is always open.
